I'm driven to understand, why people do what they do. How can we want to achieve something but not be able to take the steps needed to make it happen?
It's the burning question for me, one that keeps me striving for answers and creating new ways to help my clients, and myself, to achieve goals.
I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian, author, trainer and media spokesperson for the Dietitian's Association of Australia. Sharing my ideas is a must as I am passionate about helping people create healthy habits and enjoy food without dieting.
My philosophy is that diets don't work, they are a predictor of future weight gain. So I've had to find another way to assist people with more permanent solutions. As a business person I can't ignore my client's goals, which are often about weight loss. My challenge is always to create user-friendly solutions that align with my philosophy and meets my client's expectations and health goals,without
contributing to their experience on the diet merry-go-round.
